We’re gearing up the DVN Workshop to meet the many requests for another such event in America. In a period where lighting technologies are going so fast, we have to closely follow the trends and evolution of research, technology, and regulations.
Our Third US workshop will take place on 12–13 January at the Royal Park Hotel in Rochester, Michigan during NAIAS (the Detroit motor show). We expect over 200 top-level attendees from all over the world, representing a wide swath of the global driver-vision community of researchers, engineers, manufacturers, suppliers, regulators, and automakers. The rubric for the Workshop is Future Lighting Technologies, Techniques & Regulatory Affairs in NAFTA , with coverage to include LED, laser, OLED, ADB & matrix beams, simulation, and regulation .
A special panel discussion chaired by GTB President Geoff Draper will gather top regulation experts to talk of challenges brought by these new technologies. Things are shaping up nicely; we’re lining up some interesting and unusual presentations. Speakers from Audi, GM, Ford, Chrysler, Nissan, Toyota, Automotive Lighting, Hella, Valeo, Koito/NAL, Varroc, ZKW, Osram and Philips will present their latest innovations and discuss whether they plan their introduction on the American market.
Start making your plans to attend. DVN US workshop represents a unique opportunity to exhibit and show your lighting & driver-assistance work. The roster of sponsors is complete but there is still place for 2 or 3 exhibitors which already include Hella, Osram, Philips, Seoul SC, Docter Optics, AML Systems, LMT, Mentor Graphics, Optis, Synopsys, Sea Link International, Enmech, Astron Fiamm, Zollner, and others. Please don’t hesitate to contact us for more information! Meanwhile, mark the date: 12–13 January, 2015.
The most urgent tasks are to register to attend and book your room (see contact p. 3 of linked flyer) at the Royal Park Hotel, the workshop week in January during NAIAS being the busiest of the year.
