The main objectives of Driving Vision News are:

- To compile, present, and analyse research data and information for purposes including but not limited to development of regulations, standards, and strategies
- To compile, present, and analyse information on relevant innovative products, systems, and ideas
In pursuing these objectives, DVN does not engage in any commercial activities that could damage or harm DVN participants or which is against any rules or regulations concerning anti-trust or free and fair competition.
1. Purpose and Scope of Compliance Policy
Competition and anti-trust laws are aimed at ensuring that competitive behavior between economic actors is not restricted or distorted. The laws include prohibitions on anti-competitive agreements and arrangements, and on unfair or abusive uses of market power.
These laws apply to groups and associations, regardless of their structure, just as they apply to any individual company, and so these kinds of laws apply to DVN, its participants, and their delegates. Industry and trade groups and associations are watched closely by competition authorities; however, it is recognised that consumers and end-users can benefit from activities and events such as those organised and provided by DVN.
This policy is not legal advice, and it is not an exhaustive compliance manual. Any member requiring advice on their position under competition law should consult their own legal advisers.
2. Rules for meetings
To protect DVN, its participants, and their delegates’ organizations, these rules shall apply to all meetings of DVN delegates:
a. Every meeting of DVN will have a specific purpose, with an agenda circulated to delegates prior to the meeting. This agenda will be closely followed, and all meetings will be accurately recorded by minutes.
b. The minutes shall be circulated to delegates after the meeting and retained by DVN.
c. Every meeting will begin with the chairperson reading the Compliance Statement, and this shall be recorded in the minutes.
