The whole of the DVN team are focusing on our next events, the first one just after summer vacation in Shanghai, and then one in India in October.
For China, we are happy to publish our first tentative docket with sessions and companies who will give presentations and put up expo booths. 27 exhibitors are already confirmed, and we are expecting more than 600 participants in a totally new place, this time in Shanghai city centre. The event will focus on safety, performance, innovation, electrical architecture, design, and regulation – a lot of new possibilities are under discussion within China’s regulatory groups.
Then we will go to India, two years after our Pune event. This time we go to Delhi with a gold-star slate of participants. Tata and Maruti CTOs are confirmed as introductory speakers to show the importance of lighting for Indian OEMs. Performance and safety are major topics in India, and crash avoidance is a top priority. Because design is also important, the stakes and expectations are high for the lighting industry. To explain this, I am pleased to bring you our interview with Lumax Group Chairman Deepak Jain. Lumax are one of the major lighting tier-1s in India, and Jain’s thoughts are most illustrative of the Indian market, its needs and expectations.

Right in between these two DVN events, we will be in France for the SIA VISION event, held by SIA, the French association of automotive engineers, where I have the honor of serving as Congress President. For all these events, if you have any questions, please contact me.
Sincerely yours,
