So here it is, the start of 2015. We hope you had nice festivities! As we mark the start of a new year, we take a moment to reflect on DVN as a real, functioning, dynamic community to keep exchanging ideas, communicating, and progressing together. It was our original and primary target and strength to build a space for this type of synergy, to promote innovation and help our industries as we face changing and challenging market conditions. Largely through your participation and feedback, we are convinced that sharing our ideas, doubts, and vision on how to excel in these difficult but passionate times will bring each and all of us the results we seek; this kind of cooperation will remain the primary motivation behind Driving Vision News reports and weekly newsletters, workshops and profiles during 2015.
We’re happy to have our efforts confirmed in their direction and effect by the strong interest and high registration count at the imminent US Workshop, following as it does on the high participation at 2014’s Paris and Seoul Workshops. We expanded the US Workshop from 200 to 220 participants, and we deeply regret that safety regulations prevent further expansion. If you’re unable to participate, watch for the full coverage to follow in our reportage. Otherwise—see you there!
Sincerely yours,
DVN Editor in Chief
