The DVN Lighting event in India last week was a tremendous success, with a great lot of people – around 800! Participants had two days of great opportunities to talk, listen, look, and learn about India’s unique vehicle and lighting market conditions, needs, preferences, realities, and players. In today’s DVNewsletter we bring you a summary touching on the event’s highlights.
We also bring you a preview of our DVN Report on the Paris Motor Show ’26. The whole report goes live today; find it at the link in the preview. And the DVN event in Gothenburg is coming soon, in just over two weeks – read up today on the great state of that event’s development, and find links to sign up.
Meanwhile, the European Car of the Year competition is on, and we’ve set up a parallel fun-run for DVNers to vote on their favourite car design and favourite car-lighting design. Each of the seven COTY finalists has been featured in at least one DVN article; we’ve linked them all so you can make an informed vote.
There’s news of innovative conductive-adhesive technology to make headlamps more compatible with circularity and relieve design restrictions imposed by solder, and word of a Chinese proposal for a technical standard or regulation on ISDs. Plus product-milestone and company-reorganization news, and to bring this DVNewsletter full-circle, we’ve got reportage from CEO presentations at the Automotive Summit held in conjunction with the Paris Motor Show.
As always, we’re ever so glad you’re here with us. Onward and upward!
All the best,
