We at very happy (and more than a little proud) to see the very positive feedback from our first Delhi Workshop. Organising this event was quite a challenge and we feel rewarded by the large attendance of close to 200 attendees and their effusive appreciation for the fruitful time they spent.
What I retain from the Delhi workshop is really the enthusiasm of the Indian participants and the unanimously high opinion of the exceptionally informative lecture content and high quality of the exhibit booths. I was pleased to see the interest shown by the main lighting experts, and how they enjoyed talking and exchanging with their colleagues, competitors, suppliers, and customers. Really, these few days spent in India inspire sturdy optimism for the mid-term future of the Indian automotive market.
And now we shift our efforts towards the 13th DVN Workshop, to be held at the prestigious Ritz Carlton Tokyo on 18-19 May. It will focus on Green Cutting Edge Lighting Technologies. I think it will be a high point of this year’s lighting events; the world’s best experts are lining up to present the latest progress in new light sources and functions, as well as the new technology and technique to bring light to the world’s roads in novel ways. The detailed lecture program will be available early next month. At such an innovative time, with so many new technologies being developed so quickly, surely this workshop will help the whole driver vision community to build a cohesive, strategic view of the best ways forward.
Keep an eye on our Tokyo Workshop page for more detail as it becomes available.
Sincerely yours
DVN Editor in Chief
