On grounds of the very positive feedback from last year’s DVN Conference in Frankfurt on synergies in lidar and lighting, we’ve decided to build on that success and hold another DVN Lidar Conference. In just a year’s time, there have been substantial innovations, discoveries, and new applications of automotive lidar in ADAS and autonomous driving. The DVN Lidar Conference 2.0 will cover lidar application, integration, testing, and release. It’ll take place this coming 3 December in Frankfurt, with a cocktail social and a welcome dinner the evening before on the 2nd. Our intent with this conference is to facilitate reciprocal access, communication, and business opportunities for stakeholders in lidar and vehicle lighting, and to continue building a new ecosystem for automotive lidar integration.
This event will gather top worldwide experts in automotive lidar and lighting. 16 lectures are planned from automakers including Audi, Ford, Volvo, PSA, and Renault; lidar suppliers like Continental, Ibeo, Innoviz, Infineon, Jenoptik, LeddarTech, Ouster, Valeo, Velodyne, and Xenomatix; scientific presenter Fraunhofer IMS, lighting tier-1s including AL, Hella, Koito, Valeo, and ZKW; and a variety of tier-2 suppliers involved in lidar simulation tools and Market research like Ansys-Optis, Mentor Graphics, and Yole Development.
Lecture sessions will include lidar technology, lidar integration in front and rear lamps, simulation and testing, and market challenges and opportunities. There will be two panel discussions on integration versus application and on testing and release. And there’ll be 15 expo booths presenting the newest innovative lidar-based automotive technologies and their integration into cars.
The Conference will be a great opportunity to boost the lighting and lidar communities and to create new coöperation to further accelerate the evolution of comprehensive driver and vehicle vision systems. The entry fee for this conference is €950 per person (including DVN members, as this is not one of the DVN Workshops included with membership). Follow this link to register, or contact DVN’s Salomon Berner for more information about attendance and exhibition booths. We look forward to seeing you there!
Meanwhile, this week we continue presenting innovative companies with Andaltec, a unique Spanish tech accelerator with especial strength in lighting.
Sincerely yours
DVN President
