In the vehicle lighting community, most of us are familiar with pretty much all the automakers except some of the domestic Chinese makers. But many lighting suppliers, some Tier 1s and a lot of Tier 2s, as well as a big collection of universities and research outfits, are not well enough known. Last week we got started working to remedy that by presenting the French Piseo centre of lighting expertise.
This week we carry on with a profile of Chinese lighting supplier Anrui, who exhibited at the DVN Shanghai Workshop. You’ll find our overview of the company, their affiliations and their products. And next weeks we’ll introduce other interesting companies.
Automakers will busily transform their companies to meet demands for electrification, autonomous driving, digitalisation, and car sharing. At the same time the gap between future requirements by the same OEMs on advanced lighting systems and currently-available capabilities and resources at tier-1 lighting suppliers will increase. So, knowing better the lighting players is becoming more and more crucial, and we at DVN are doing our part to help.
Remember, there’s a special section of the DVN website with slides, videos, and pictures of the recent DVN Shanghai Workshop—a virtual visit, as it were. We’d love to have your feedback so we can carry on developing this kind of feature or learn you’d rather we apply our efforts in a different direction.
As always, we’re glad you’re with us and we won’t stop striving to facilitate your work!
