The DVN Shanghai Workshop last week was a grand success. I am so happy to have seen the keen interest of the participants as they followed the lectures, talked and listened with one another, visited the expo booths, and enjoyed the dinner.
The event brought together over 300 lighting-involved participants from all over the world. There were directors, managers, experts, researchers, regulators, and technicians; the docket was loaded with exceptional speakers and presenters from all sectors of the global Driving Vision News community. We had around 30 lectures from automakers and tier-1 and -2 lighting suppliers, including presentations from international and Chinese lighting experts.
The 2-hour session on regulation intrigued with the participation of the best international experts. In this week’s news you’ll find pertinent new information about the UN Regulations, which are headed in productive directions largely on strength of astute guidance and tireless work by Geoff Draper and Davide Puglisi.
Starting this week, you will find summary presentations of some of the lectures. And soon we’ll be publishing pictures, video, and analysis of the Workshop’s events.
You also will see this week a summary of the report on Shanghai autoshow, with the 4 takeaways; the report will be publish next week.
Sincerely yours
DVN President
