Today we are proud to release our in-depth profile of Peterson Manufacturing, a DVN Gold Member based in America near Kansas City. Their sector of the vehicle lighting sphere is perhaps less intrinsically flashy than those of companies whose products are splashed across magazine covers on new-model automobiles. But to dismiss Peterson as even a little bit boring would be quite a mistake; not only are their products innovative, diverse, and interesting, but so is their company itself in its history, structure, operations, workforce, engineering passion, and capabilities. There are probably OEMs and others in the DVN community who won’t have been aware of Peterson until they read this profile—which they ought to do without delay; Peterson are a company well worth familiarity.
In other American news: until recently, CES (the Consumer Electronics Show) in Las Vegas was purely about electronics—a place to discover new devices, hardware and software, mainly for domestic and professional applications.
But then car makers began appearing progressively, and now most of the world’s car makers and a great variety of automotive suppliers unveil showy new innovations at CES, including their latest new functionalities, systems, and an increasing number of new production- and concept-cars, as well as new corporate strategies.
Read this week’s DVN for what you need to know about what’s been presented at CES this year.
Sincerely yours
DVN Editor in Chief
