GTB’s 120th session, hosted on 16-20 November by the active Czech Delegation, was held at the Hotel Boscolo in the historic city of Prague with all of the 20 member delegations represented and an attendance of 70 delegates. In addition Professor Tran Quoc Khanh, Head of the Darmstadt University Laboratory of Lighting Technology, and two of his Doctorate students, J. Kobbert and K. Kosmas, accepted an invitation to present their status of research on adaptive front-lighting and rear-lighting systems.

The programme for the week included:
• The GTB General Assembly held on Monday morning 16 November
• The Committee of Experts session from Monday afternoon 16 November to Wednesday mid-day 18 November
• The remainder of the week devoted to half-day meetings of the working groups specialising on front lighting, signal lighting, light sources and installation.
