All the lighting players have already received information about our next DVN workshop to be held 23-24 April at the JC Mandarin Hotel in Shanghai. The rubric, “Innovations for a better light”, has been a strong driver for all our recent workshops. It will have even stronger appeal for our Chinese attendees very fond of technological innovations.
Most of the exhibition space has already been booked. The remaining important point is about the hotel room booking. Because the Shanghai auto show is the same week, we blocked a limited number of single rooms at the JC Mandarin for 900 RMB/night (about €110). Please book your room online as soon as possible. Ask for the person in charge of the DVN workshop, Anton Lu and mention the DVN April workshop with Hector Fratty, as a booking reference.
In this exceptional workshop, the first in China, we will have 2 great parts:
– Twenty exceptional lectures from automakers like Audi, Mercedes-Benz, Nissan, Renault, and Chinese car makers; lighting tier-1s including AL, Hella, Ichikoh, Olsa, Valeo, Varroc, and Chinese tier-1s; and lighting tier-2s including Osram, Philips, Docter Optics, Mentor, and Chinese companies.
– Two panel sessions to allow interesting exchanges among attendees:
One session will focus on opportunities and obstacles in the international initiative to harmonise the technical requirements of lighting and light signaling. The other session will look at the future of new lighting technologies which will be a good synthesis of the 2 days’ discussions.
See the Shanghai Workshop 2013 page for more information and individual workshop registration. See you there!
Sincerely yours
DVN Editor in Chief
