Mercedes-Benz have revealed their significantly updated E-Class.
The quad headlamp treatment, which had been a key design feature of the E-class since 1995, is gone, to be replaced by a more conventional appearance, with more prominent single-assembly headlights that feature LED DRL as standard.
New headlamps incorporate all light functions within a single exterior lens, while flowing light elements within the headlamps help to retain the “four-eyed” appearance that is such a distinctive E-Class signature.
For the first time, low beam uses LED not as an option but in all the E-Class cars, while full-LED headlamps are available as an option.
The headlamps are made by Hella.

In the entry level, the headlamps use an LED low beam, a halogen H7 high beam, an LED DRL and a bulb DI at the bottom. No AFS or Glare Free High Beam.
