This Thursday, DVN invites the main European experts and managers of automotive lighting to Paris for a workshop focused on lighting technologies.
Representatives from a broad cross-section of the industry will be present:
– Car makers : Audi, Fiat, Ford, Mercedes, Opel, PSA, Renault and Volkswagen
– Tier 1 Lighting suppliers : AL, Hella, Valeo, Visteon, ZKW
– Light source Tier 2 suppliers : Osram, Philips, Nichia and Seoul
– Organizations : TU-Darmstadt, GTB and LSS
The workshop is divided in 3 parts:
In the morning, experts will present 6 lectures on new technologies and their impact on regulations and customer choice.
In the afternoon, 3 round tables are organised on Xenon lights, LED lights and how to sell advance lighting in the future.
Last part is a debriefing of the works in front of VIP’s car makers and lighting suppliers.
What do we expect from such a workshop?
Sharing information between lighting experts about:
– Fast progress of lighting technologies with Xenon 35W/25W, LEDs, adaptive lighting and the influence of driver assistance sensors.
– ECE regulations and the impact of these breakthrough technologies
– EU constraints on energy consumption and CO 2 emission reduction
