“LED Technologies in Automotive Lighting” Exclusive Report Now Available
Driving Vision News published last week the report LED Technologies in Automotive Lighting.
Since our first report on the 2008 NAIAS, DVN has published 24 reports about technologies, automotive congresses and shows, regulations, car makers, and lighting supplier’s profiles. I’m especially proud of our latest report on LED technologies because:
– the technology is appealing and key to the future of front and rear lighting.
– the report has been put together with the latest technical information available from our members who are at the leading edge of LED technologies.
– the state of the art is highlighted with the numerous advantages of LEDs over traditional light sources but also the specific related challenges.
– 150 illustrations, curves, plots, and data sheets, gather all useful information about LED in the automotive field.
The report has the ambition to become the reference standard for our community of professionals: car makers and Tier 1&2 lighting suppliers, as well as universities. It assembles all needed strategic information on technology, luminous performances, and market prices with a vision of the future of LEDs extrapolated towards 2015 and 2020, and compared with Xenon and halogen light sources.
I conclude with three suggestions to lighting suppliers in order to allow them to be at the top level when this crisis will be over.
Next to this editorial, I have the pleasure to share with you my interview of Michael Hamm, one of the greatest experts on LEDs, who was in charge of the development of the Audi R8 Full LED headlamp launched last year.
Please share with us your comments; we are listening and will take them into account to improve the utility of Driving Vision News for you.
Sincerely yours
