Everybody is back after summer vacation. Kids are starting school in France today, on 1 September. Most people have done summer works and it was the same for the DVN team. We are glad to bring you interviews and reports from field trips we’ve done to understand the Chinese automotive lighting ecosystem and prepare for the DVN Shanghai event next week.
Especially I am happy to bring you my interview with one of my former bosses, Olivier Brosse – who now lives in Shanghai – to get his views about the Chinese automotive landscape. And my exchange with Zhao Zhun from CATARC about C-NCAP 2027’s new lighting rating, which includes bonus points for lighting projection systems and for multipixel solutions, and my visits with OEMs and suppliers to keep up to date with technology, innovation, and supply chain.
