During our annual award ceremony last February, the DVN community voted, and chose Audi’s Concept-C as the best concept car lighting design. The super-slim, simple, aesthetic and technical design stirred up a great recognition from the assembled lighting experts.

Ours isn’t the only award Audi’s received for the Concept-C, and we are proud they mention DVN as a prestigious award, amongst peers like awards from Car Design News, Top Gear, and Auto & Design. This is a great recognition for our community.
On behalf of DVN, I again congratulate Audi’s Design & Lighting R&D teams for their terrific lamp design. Next comes the part where skilled and talented engineers and manufacturers make these ideas production-ready and real!

In this week’s DVNewsletter, we bring you part II of the interviews I did during Auto China 2026. Next week, watch for our extensive report about the show.
Last week, Wolfgang was in Tianjian for the GTB session. I am travelling this week in China, too: Hangzhou, Nanjing, Changzhou, Danyang, Suzhou, and Shanghai. I’m visiting Chinese OEMs, tier-1s and -2s, and regulatory authorities, to get a clear, sharp, up-to-date understanding of our sector in the world’s largest auto market.
Sincerely yours,
