I would like to thank again all 370 attendees at the DVN Shanghai Workshop this past April. I took great pleasure to welcome 34 Car makers, 79 set makers, and 162 Tier-2 and universities/organisations. I also thank the exhibitors, who presented so many innovative products and ideas, and the speakers for their interesting lectures.
What do I retain from the event? See this week’s in-depth report. The three important messages are that digital light manipulation is aggressively replacing hardware, ADB is the technology of the future with several different technologies to improve the resolution, and the importance of working toward regulations that anticipate and comport with the pace of technological advance.
All the information concerning the workshop is now published in today’s report, with links to the lectures (where approved by the speakers) and a raft of pictures.
Thank you also for all your positive feedback on the Workshop. The nice words of one attendee aptly summarise: “Thank you very much for the excellent and extremely valuable workshop. I had no idea how educational this workshop would actually be. I learned a lot and the information puts many of my futuristic ideas in different perspective.” Response like this gratifies our drive to keep working for you.
Sincerely yours,
DVN President
