Today I am pleased to inform you that the agenda has been finalised for the DVN Workshop in Shanghai this coming 25–26 April at the Marriott Shanghai Parkview Hotel. Over 300 attendees from all round the world will be there: directors, managers, engineers, designers, experts, researchers, practitioners, and technicians. The rubric is Lighting innovations focused on styling, standardisation, and safety—regulatory affairs toward simplification. So that everyone can follow the lectures, simultaneous English-Chinese and Chinese-English translation will be provided.
It will be my pleasure to welcome lectures by some of the foremost luminaries of our community; their presentations are sure to inspire thoughtful discussion and good ideas among all who attend the Workshop. After the variety of lecture sessions and the regulation session, there’ll be a panel discussion with eight experts who will talk about the future of lighting. The panel will be chaired by Leo Metzemaeker who, together with five other veteran lighting experts, leads the ongoing study “Impact of a Changing Automotive Industry on Exterior Lighting”. See this week’s news for details on the Shanghai docket. It’s surely going to be terrifically productive event; registration information is on the Shanghai Workshop page at the DrivingVisionNews website. See you there!
Sincerely yours
DVN President
