The Embedded Lighting Systems educational program, as previously reported in DVN , is a joint effort of three schools—ESTACA , the Institut d’Optique Graduate School, and Strate Design School—together with Renault , PSA Peugeot – Citroën and Valeo . Now it’s on track to launch next September.

Ribon, and IOGS chief J.L. Martin (above, Left–Right) last week launched Embedded Lighting Systems education and research program. This industrial chair gets under way with the first students in September 2015, with a hefty initial three-year budget of nearly €2bn .
The chair aims to develop, in France, an international training cycle to prepare students for occupations in embedded lighting systems, including vehicle lighting systems.
The first class will graduate in September 2016 with diplomas reading ” Master in Conference des Grandes Écoles “.
