Main Highlights:
The GTB General Assembly
The General Assembly reelected Geoff Draper as GTB President and Davide Puglisi as Treasurer for a further 4 year term starting from May 2015. Vice President Bart Terburg continues his current term; Vice Presidential elections are at the mid-term of the President’s period in office to ensure continuity of the GTB Administrative Committee. This means the current team will continue in office, having successfully steered GTB through major restructuring and modernisation over the past six years and achieved the prestigious special consultative status with the UN Economic and Social Council. In the next four years, the team will complete their restructuring plans and expect to welcome several new member delegations to strengthen the global presence of GTB.
