DVN: First of all: How are you? It’s six months since the terrible motorcycle crash.
Dr Huhn: Five month in hospital was one of the toughest challenges in my life. To all of our lighting community who visited me, who send good wishes by phone and mail and sms, send flowers and gifts: THANK YOU SO MUCH! It helped a lot to see and feel that you do not forget me. Now I am on a good way to recovery. Ok, I am not able to run or carry heavy things yet. But I work hard in a rehabilitation program beside work to get that back.

DVN: Audi was the first brand to introduce the matrix beam in 2013 in the A8. What is the feedback from drivers?
Dr Huhn : Response of our customers and the international press is highly positive. It improves night driving safety very visibly and measurably.
DVN: Do you think NHTSA will allow soon the ADB and matrixbeam?
Dr Huhn: ADB will be legal in the US. I expect the authorities will need another 2 to 3 years for finalisation.
