Following on the grand success of the DVN Workshop in Paris a month ago, we are hard at work on the next Workshop, and I am happy to announce its location in Seoul, Korea at a luxury hotel this coming June 24th and 25th.
There are three main reasons:
1) The Paris Workshop was primarily centred on the European market and on European technologies with European speakers. After Tokyo in Japan, Detroit in America, and Shanghai in China, it is time for a DVN Workshop in Korea, one of the great Asian automotively-industrialised countries. Lectures will be presented by Korean, American, Japanese, and European speakers.
2) Hyundai Motors, SL, Mobis, Seoul Semiconductor, LG, and KATRI (Korea Automobile Testing and Research Institute), who have attended DVN Workshops abroad from them, are very keen on a Workshop in their homebase country. They want to show that they are an essential part of our lighting community, and they shall demonstrate it through their contribution to the Workshop with high-level lectures and exhibition booths. We are looking forward to creating the opportunity and forum for real and meaningful exchanges between Korea and Europe and Korea and America.
3) During my trip in Korea few months ago, I discovered a lot of new technologies developed by Korean companies. The Seoul Workshop will be a good opportunity for companies from Europe, America and China to get early, direct access to this core information.
Innovations in lighting are evolving very fast in light sources, functions, and styling and the rubric of the workshop will be Lighting Technology in 2020–’25: Specificities of Europe, America, & Asia. It will be very fruitful and productive for all attendees, so make plans now to come and participate!
As a reminder, all the information about the DVN Paris Workshop is accessible via DrivingVisionNews.com on its own microsite . There you will find the report, the lectures, the exhibitions, and all the pictures taken during the dinner, the breaks, and the lectures.
