Hella will release new special warning lamps at the trade fair for the emergency services, RETTmobil 2008, in Fulda in mid-May. The efficient LED warning lamps, compliant with ECE R65, require around 40 percent less current than the single-reflector rotator units with halogen bulbs, and the LED emitters have much longer life than the previous bulbs. The LED modules’ insensitivity to vibration and impact guarantees maximum operational durability.
Counting the new LED unit, Hella now supply their blue special warning equipment with a total of 5 different optical signal modules, from single or multiple halogen rotators through xenon strobe to the new LED modules.
The wide range of light module options includes sirens, sounders, and various types of work lights, such as those at the side which can be integrated in the system contour and adjusted depending on vehicle type.
