Just 5 LEDs per side perform the DRL function on the newly restyled A3. The DRL LEDs are arrayed at the top of the optional BiXenon headlamps,
while the standard halogen headlamps have the LED DRL at the bottom. The A3 ‘Sportback’ model also has an LED light guide for the rear lamp.
