After extensive beta testing, the all-new DrivingVisionNews website with its weekly newsletters will be officially launched next week, on Tuesday April 22nd. We’ve had a great deal of kind assistance from our colleagues in the field, and we’re excited to be launching a highly relevant, timely, easy-to-use, fully-archived and searchable live newsletter. DrivingVisionNews focuses specifically on automotive lighting and driver assistance, but that’s not all that makes DVN unique. We aim to facilitate and improve the flow of information in all directions amongst automakers, suppliers, researchers, regulators and practitioners in this field.
So, every Tuesday, we’ll deliver 10 to 12 pertinent news articles including interviews with automotive lighting and driver assistance experts from all areas of the field; stylists, quality, production and purchase managers, researchers, and regulators. Over the longer term, we will also provide broad, deep analysis of particular lighting and driver assistance technologies, philosophies, products and systems. All of this is in addition to topically-relevant reports on the world’s auto shows, and company profiles to be published over the coming weeks:
– April 22: Geneva Auto show report with all concept cars and production debuts.
– April 29: SAE International Congress report with concentration on the most important conferences and discussion of lighting and D.A. trends.
– May 6: PSA profile loaded with interesting information for tier 1 and tier 2 suppliers.
All this content is free of charge on an introductory basis, until May 13th when full access to DrivingVisionNews will require a membership subscription. From May 6th , subscriptions will be offered on the website.
