• Adaptive Cruise Control, which warns the driver of a potentially dangerous approach to another vehicle. ACC maintains the driver’s pre-set speed, taking into account the distance to the vehicle ahead, by automatically accelerating and decelerating within the speed range of 30–200 km/h. The system includes braking guard, which is always active and audibly warns the driver when Adaptive Cruise is deactivated. If the system detects a situation of imminent danger, it generates a warning jolt with a brief application of the brakes.
• Audi Side Assist for greater safety when changing lanes. ASA informs the driver there is no vehicle in the approach zone or the blind spot, giving assurance that it is safe to change to the adjacent lane.
• Audi Lane Assist to prevent unintended lane change and vehicle drift due to driver inattention. ALA is a Lane Departure Warning System which detects vehicle motion characteristic of an unintended lane departure and warns the driver with mechanically-generated steering wheel vibration.
• Adaptive Light for a dynamic cornering light. When the vehicle is moving, dynamic cornering light illuminates the road by swivelling the headlight module according to the speed and the steering angle.
