Three important events in Paris overlap in the first half of October. The Mondial (Paris motor show) is open until the 19th, with very interesting concept cars and production models. DVN will release our report in the third week of this month, presenting the cars on display and describing the salient points. See our initial reaction in this week’s News.
– The DVN VIP welcome cocktail and dinner will be Monday the 13th at the famous Hotel de France in Versailles—where Colbert, the minister of King Louis XIV lived. Around 100 VIPs, managers and experts from DVN Gold member companies have been individually invited, and it will be an excellent opportunity for high level representatives of our lighting and ADAS community to catch up, exchange views, schmooze, and network.
– The third and naturally most important event is the VISION congress with around 400 experts and managers involved in automotive lighting and driver assistance. The session chairmen are all eminent in their respective fields: Wolfgang Huhn, Prof. Khanh, Christian Amann, Jean-Philippe Benoist, Laurent Serezat, Vincent Abadie, Hans-Theo Dorissen, and Jean-Marc Blosseville. Aside from the 35 lectures, attendees will be able to make real-world, after-dark assessments of 26 production and demonstration cars’ lights and driver assistance systems and attend six technical presentations. Our full report on VISION is slated for release in November.
I hope you will take full advantage of these two exceptional weeks, and enjoy taking part in these events. See you there!
Sincerely yours,
DVN Editor in Chief
