The US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has delayed the effective date of its automatic emergency braking (AEB) rule, Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard № 127, to give the Trump Administration more time to review the mandate. The rule’s effective date of 27 January has been pushed back to 20 March.
