AutoZeitung, the № 4 auto magazine in Germany, published in June the results of tests they conducted on 12 different premium, compact and small cars. Their headlamps were equipped with various light sources, halogen, xenon, LED and laser, and lighting systems ranging from mechanical ADB to matrix beam.
Methodology
1)Static tests
 To judge the width of the light beams and their homogeneity, static small targets were spread at equal distances on the ground |
 Light static range measurements were performed on the landing surface of a sporting airport by placing targets every 5m |
2)Driving tests
Driving tests were conducted on a closed test track and on open roads and freeways.
