With the tremendous surge of new lighting technologies and techniques since 2010, it’s time for a fresh set of DVN awards highlighting particularly valuable contributions and innovative contributors in our lighting community. Awards will be presented at a ceremony in Paris following dinner on the 24 th of February, the evening before the DVN Workshop. There are eight DVN awards for the best lectures presented at the foremost congresses and workshops of 2012-13; a ninth award will distinguish DVN’s 2013 Person of the Year.
Three criteria are considered for assessing lectures: content, innovation, and presentation quality.
For the VISION and ISAL congresses, those events’ respective steering committees applied the criteria to select the lectures. For the Michigan and China DVN Workshops, the DVN team did the job.
