It’s a fine time to look back at what we have achieved with DVN as a team over these last six years, to pick some guidelines for the future and to draw up a roadmap for the next three years.
First a little bit of history: when we wrote our first DVN Newsletter, our goal was ambitious and clear: building something which did not yet exist: a journal of record for our industry, in the form of an online tech-watch website to give our DVN members a clear view of what’s happening in the realm of automotive lighting worldwide. After more than 300 DVN weekly Newsletters, with a library of more than 70 DVN reports, and a seven-long onrunning series of highly and increasingly popular DVN workshops running from Stuttgart to Paris, from Tokyo to Detroit to Shanghai, we are proud of the growing list of DVN Gold members who have joined our community and repeatedly renewed their yearly subscription.
More than 80 companies have joined in from all over the value chain of automotive lighting—car makers, tier-1 and -2 lighting suppliers, universities and labs—and the resultant DVN community’s footprint covers almost all geographical areas: Europe, North America, Japan, China, Korea. We’ve just opened the new community section on our website where you can learn more about every member of our DVN lighting community.
