WiFi Cars Will “See” Pedestrians, Cyclists: GM

GM are developing expanded capabilities for their V2I and V2V systems. Aside from detecting and sharing information about stalled vehicles, slick roads, road junctions and construction and suchlike, pedestrians and cyclists are slated for addition to the roster so a car can detect them in low visibility conditions before the driver does.
