The ISAL (International Symposium on Automotive Lighting) Steering Committee meeting was held Friday March 11, 2011, under the leadership of Professor Khanh.
All lighting experts, members of the Steering Committee were present:.

The main target of the members was to select the 65 best papers to be presented at ISAL symposium in September 2011 at Darmstadt.
After 4 hours’ discussion, these papers were selected out of a pool of very interesting 125 submissions from Europe, North America, Brazil, Japan, and Korea and from car makers, universities and the main companies involved in Lighting. .
Next weeks, after official communication of ISAL, Driving Vision News will give more information about some of the 65 selected papers.
Selected papers will be communicated on the 18 th of March and the program will be published beginning of May.
The ISAL 2011 will again inspire the exchange between lighting engineers, road safety experts and regulative bodies by presenting the latest research results and developments. The congress will be held on the 27 th -28 th of September, 2011, in Darmstadt, Germany.
