The 21 st Automechanika was held in Frankfurt from September 14 to 19.
It is the leading international meeting place for the automobile sector. As the world’s biggest trade fair for the automotive aftermarket, the Automechanika spotlights innovations and solutions particularly in the fields of parts, systems, and tuning.
Hella had a strong presence with products, video presentations and mock-ups.
The main impressive demonstration is the dynamic Adaptive Lighting in a short light tunnel.

About products, Hella presented a large range of LED products mainly focused to the aftermarket, like the auxilliary Luminator with 3LED reflectors, the flat beam with 60 LEDs-11W, and LEDayFlex technology for DRL and Position light
Valeo presented two panels with one focused on 4 products summarising the aftermarket product range, one low cost with Dacia, one Japanes carmaker from Toyota Auris, one high tech product with Audi Q5 and the last one was the LED DRL of the Ciroen DS3.
The second panel emphasises the launch of an aftermarket range of halogen bulbs including the usual standard, blue-glass “extra white”, long-life, high performance +50, and yellow-tinted “All Season” varieties.
