The automotive interior is evolving through convergence. Reconfigurable seats, new access concepts, hybrid controls, lighting, sound and materials are no longer isolated innovations: their value depends on how effectively and intuitively they work together.
This transformation requires a cross-functional approach combining design, engineering, electronics, safety and circularity from the earliest development stages. Differentiation will spring from the coherence of the overall experience and its ability to support different uses naturally.
This system-level vision will be central to the DVN Shanghai Interior Workshop on 8 – 9 September.
