The Chery QQ is a city car produced since May 2003. In 2006, Chery created a QQ-branded product line that included the original QQ (rebadged as a QQ3), along with other versions. At the time, it was a new approach. It went away in 2014, though the second-generation QQ went on sale in parts of Europe (a cooperative venture with DR Automobiles, as the DR Zero in Italy).
The newest QQ was unveiled at the Shanghai auto show, and it was a good opportunity for DVN to meet with Chery QQ Head of Design Pierre Fengyou Gong for an interview
The Design Lounge reports this week about the 3daysofdesign conference in Copenhagen, to see how other designers work with their creative tasks which can always be inspiring. DVN Interior Senior Designer Andreas Friedrich was there.
We’re busily organizing our first-ever Shanghai Interior Workshop for this coming 29-30 October. Find the preliminary leaflet here. As with all DVN events, it will bring a wide array of opportunities to talk, listen, and learn. Lectures, tech sessions, panel discussions, and expo booths (which are being snapped up; send Emilie an email to reserve yours).
Sincerely yours,
