Lightyear Solar Car to Enter Production

The Lightyear 0 (formerly Lightyear One) is the world’s first long-range production solar car.  Announced by the Dutch company in June 2019, the initial production run of 946 vehicles is scheduled to start shortly by contract manufacturer Valmet, at a rate of one car per week, with the aim of proving mass-market production is possible…
