This year’s DVN Reports have included a Volkswagen
profile, reports on materials and regulations, our forecast for the future of exterior
lighting, and we’re putting finishing touches on December’s DVN Report on interior
lighting.
Now’s the time of year when we make plans for next year’s DVN Reports, and we’d
like your suggestions. We’ll be reporting on events like CES and the Geneva and
Paris motor shows, the VISION Congress, and the two DVN Workshops. We’ll bring
you comprehensive DVN Report coverage of the vehicle lighting industry in
the U.S. including the likes of Magna, Flex-N-Gate, JW Speaker,
Sapphire, and others, an update on Audi’s lighting with presentation of
their light tunnel, demonstrators, digital OLED, communications, e-tron
DMD, matrix/laser, and other “wow” technology, a profile of Marelli-AL with presentation
of their latest technologies, their facilities, and VIP interviews. We’ll be
doing an in-depth writeup of exterior ambient lighting
trends including wide rear lamps and wide
front position lamps (light bars), lit logos, lit grilles, door side
projections, c-pillar embossment lights, and other suchlike. We’re planning a
report on lighting in developing countries to analyse the needs, wants, and
opportunities in those markets, and a report on ADAS and lighting exploring
the increasing convergence between them.
Do you have ideas for other DVN Report topics? Please tell us! DVN target is to help lighting players, publishing all the needed information.
I help you but also please help me, help the lighting community with your suggestions..
Don’t forget, the DVN Lidar Conference is coming up in less than a month! It’s to be held 2–3 December, with a very interesting program and VIP speakers from automakers and lidar and lighting suppliers. If you haven’t yet registered, do write in or reserve your seat!
Sincerely yours
