In the award-winning new rod-shaped LEDayLine DRL, five high-intensity LEDs emit their light indirectly from below into five individual reflectors which cast it forward. The lamp is just 28 millimetres high and 220 millimetres wide. In a 12-volt electric system, the LEDayLine consumes only 7 watts; additional fuel consumption is therefore barely measurable.
Hella’s combination rear light “Caraluna Modular” is a completely new development with which the rear sections of motorhomes and caravans can be designed according to the vehicle manufacturer’s ideas. One feature of the vertically mounted light is the reflectors’ modular configuration behind the lens. In addition, the arrangement of the plug-in modules for the different signal functions in the light can be adapted in a customer-specific way within the framework of the regulations, and the ornamental areas of the cover lens can be adapted to the vehicle manufacturer’s desired colours. The Caraluna Modular will first be available with bulb technology, but due to the modular and replaceable reflectors, can also be set up with LEDs as the light sources. Work on this is already in progress at Hella.
