This seminar is designed to provide the attendee with an overview of LEDs and their applications in automotive lighting and illumination.
The attendee at this seminar will be able to identify technical challenges and limitations of LEDs, evaluate LEDs for conformance to SAE standards, establish a basic design strategy for specific applications including forward lighting devices and manage a design activity to deal with thermal management
The instructor is Dr. Jianzhong Jiao, new manager of Osram, in charge of Regulations and Emerging Technologies at Osram opto. Prior to that, he was the General Manager for Engineering Technology at North American Lighting, Inc. for 14 years.
Program consists of:
Definitions and classifications,
Measurement and standardization included photometrics, thermics, and binning.
Automotive exterior and interior lighting
The similar sessions will be held on the 14th of August and the 11th of December
