Light-emitting diode (LED) technology provider Osram Opto Semiconductors has appointed Dr Jianzhong Jiao to the newly created position of manager of Regulations and Emerging Technologies.
In this position, Jiao will report to Tom Shottes, president and chief executive officer of Osram Opto Semiconductors. Jiao will be responsible for representing the company in obtaining, establishing and maintaining regulatory standards for solid state semiconductor technology and researching and exploring emerging semiconductor technologies for sensing, illumination and visualisation applications.
Prior to this, Jiao worked for North American Lighting.
