TechnoTeam Bildverarbeitung GmbH is a german-based company manufacturing light metrology equipment since 1990. We have been specializing in automotive lighting metrology, designing and manufacturing precise measuring instruments for light sources both in and around vehicles.
We offer different products for automotive lighting measurements.
- LMK camera series — imaging luminance and colorimeter for measurements in the automotive interior (for example, light guides and backlit symbols) and exterior (homogeneity measurements of rearlights and headlights)
- BV Room — lighting metrology technology for screen-based indirect head and rearlight measurements
- KMP — complete, fully automated solution for luminous intensity measurement of automotive light modules
- Display & Projection — Measurement techniques for automotive displays and projection modules according to national and international norms
- LPL Checker — Fully automated measurement of license plate lamps
TechnoTeam products are known for their high quality and accuracy. Our systems provide a wide luminance measurement range from 1 × 10-3 cd/m² to over 1011 cd/m². A higher contrast is important for automotive lighting measurements. We therefore offer optional stray light correction for selected lenses to increase the contrast in one image.
Our measurement solutions are all individually adjusted and calibrated according to CIE244:2021. This calibration can also optionally be performed in our ISO17025 accredited calibration laboratory.

TechnoTeam also has a strong collaboration with LMT Lichtmeßtechnik Berlin, proposing advanced light measuring solutions for head and rearlights. This technology is based on the use of a screen photometry using our LMK (luminance and color measuring devices) combined with a precise LMT goniophotometer for moving the device under test.
