Grewus GmbH

GREWUS develops and produces innovative acoustic and haptic components for a wide range of industries, including automotive, commercial vehicles, e-mobility, home appliances, medical technology, gaming, and consumer electronics. Founded in Hamburg in 2007, the company is a Tier 1 and Tier 2 supplier and is considered the market leader in Germany and the third-largest provider in Europe in the field of acoustics and haptics.

As part of the BeStar Holding with around 1,000 employees worldwide, GREWUS operates six production facilities and four sales locations. Approximately 30 million components are manufactured annually. The product portfolio includes speakers, piezo elements, microphones, ultrasonic sensors, exciters, and electromagnetic actuators. In-house manufacturing also covers tooling, housings, and module assembly.

GREWUS runs its own development labs for hardware design, simulation, measurement technology, as well as prototype and demonstrator construction. The company works closely with TÜV, audit teams, universities, and industry partners and is an active member of networks such as DVN, the Haptics Alliance, Audio Foundry, and the Haptic Industry Forum.

Recognized internationally as a competence center for haptic feedback, GREWUS is also the organizer of the interACTIVE HAPTICS Conference – a platform for exchanging ideas on the future of human-machine interaction (HMI).
