VISION Congress Programme released PDF Print E-mail

In the light of the successes of the V.I.S.I.O.N. Congresses en 2002, 2004, 2006 and 2008, SIA (French Society of Automotive Engineers) will host this event again in 2010. 2010 will see the progress of many innovations in lighting systems (LEDs / OLED, AFS, night vision, adaptive lighting, ARS...) and detection systems (camera, Radar, Lidar, ultrasonic..). The 2010 congress will highlight affordable technologies in order to improve worldwide safety. This event will
bring together the major players in this field to address key topics for vision and road safety, especially lighting systems and driving assistance. In addition, an exhibition and night drive tests with 20 expected prototype vehicles will take place to demonstrate many recent innovations in lighting and detection systems.

VISION Congress Programme released PDF Print E-mail

The V.I.S.I.O.N. congress programme is just released and DVN will be proud to send this programme to all Driving Vision News readers.
34 lectures will be presented at this congress from:
- Car makers, Audi, Mercedes, PSA, Renault, Volkswagen.
- OEM Tier 1 and 2, AL, Autoliv, Continental, Denso, Hella, Hyundai Mobis, Ichikoh, Koito, Kostal, Odelo, Philips, Osram, Sonceboz, TRW, Valeo, Visteon.
- Universities and lab as Kema-Nederlands, Livic-France, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute-USA, TUD-Darmstadt, Vislab-Parma, VTT-Finland.
The first day will be focused on lighting technologies, mainly LED, Xenon, AFS/Adaptive lighting, and visibility/glare.

The second day will be focused on Driver Assistance technologies, tools and functions.

Speakers from Finland, Germany, Italy, Japan, Korea, Sweden, Switzerland, Nederlands, USA, and France will be present.

The congress will be held at Versailles, October 6-7, 2010 and the night drives will be held on a private circuit at Satory, Versailles, October 6 from 8pm.

More than 20 demo cars will be presented with the latest technologies of lighting and driver assistance.

2010 V.I.S.I.O.N Congress will be a landmark as the first post-crisis automotive lighting expert meeting. And don't forget, the exciting Paris Mondial motor show takes place in this period, too.
