ISAL Report Forthcoming from DVN PDF Print E-mail
Editorial
Monday, 12 October 2009
At the end of September, around 450 attendees listened to 60 lectures, had the opportunity to see 30 posters and 30 written contributions, and all in all saw a huge amount of new research by and for engineers, academics, and practitioners in automotive lighting. They also participated actively in a very interesting debate on innovation in crisis time shared by top experts in lighting.
In the hall of Darmstadium, more than twenty Tier 1 & Tier 2 suppliers, labs and organisations presented their products and ideas.

For the engineers and experts who could not attend ISAL 2009, or for the attendants who did not catch all the information, Driving Vision News will publish a photo-illustrated report next week summarising significant topics from this lighting symposium, the most important worldwide in our opinion.
Don’t miss this reference report which highlights the main innovations in automotive lighting technologies and helps identifying the main players.
Here are the topics we will cover: Environmental aspects, physiology, driver behavior, driver assistance, innovation trends, LED technology, LED-AFS, LED optics and thermics, adaptive driving beam, regulations, optics, motorcycle lighting, and light sources.

Sincerely yours,
