Half of U.S. Pedestrian Traffic Deaths Happen At Night
26% of American pedestrians killed in traffic died between 6 and 9 p.m. Another 24% died between 9 p.m. and midnight. Pedestrian motor vehicle crash deaths have increased 45% since reaching their low point in 2009, and account for 16% of crash fatalities.
