SUMMARY:DVN Shanghai Lighting Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Vehicle Lighting Experience\nThe 41st DVN Lighting workshop will take place in Shanghai on September 08-09\, 2026. An Interior workshop will take place in parallel like in 2025. \nDVN are back in China for the 9th time. Last year we put a strong focus on design that is impacting our whole value chain. Lighting is not any longer a unique component\, but has become an experience. Theme is Vehicle Lighting Experience – Technology\, Innovation\, Safety and Design. \nWe will this year propose a deep dive into technology: \n\nProjection system including DLP\, LCOS\, MicroLED\, MLA technology\nFront panel that include new technologies (chrome\, films\, PUR coating\, miniLEDs and microLEDs displays)\nStart-up session to meet new comers and possible disruptors for our industry\n\nWe are inviting technical and design universities to brainstorm about what will be our future. \nSessions will include: \n\nLighting for Safety: CNCAP rating\, ADB\nDeep Dive into projection system\, including DLP\, MicroLED\, MLA\, MEMS\, Gobo.\nADAS & Lighting : how can lighting support ADAS\, how can ADAS support lighting\, status about ADAS sensor integration into lamps\, Turquoise light status\nLighting design\, including deep dive into front panels and lit grill\nLighting Process deep dive: what’s next for the 4.0 light manufacturing\nLighting simulation tools\, including AI\, what’s new?\nEE new architecture to support new lighting functions\nISD\, what’s next?\nInterior lighting\, CMF & UX\n\n2 Panel discussions: \n\nRegulation with CATARC\, SMVIC\, GTB officers\nDesign round table : Exterior designer – Lighting designer – Interior Designer – UX designer\n\nAward Ceremony: Best lamp design\, best rear lamp design\, best auxiliary lamp design\, best\ntechnology. Feel free to send us your proposal to be part of the nominees. \nThis Shanghai DVN Workshop will bring together more than 500 participants from all over the world. Experts\, researchers\, managers\, designers\, engineers…and you!

SUMMARY:DVN Shanghai Interior Workshop
DESCRIPTION:VEHICLE INTERIORS: WHAT’S NEXT?\nShaping the Holistic Cabin Experience \nThe DVN Interior workshop will take place in Shanghai on September 08-09\, 2026. A Lighting workshop will take place in parallel like in 2025. \nThe cabin is no longer just a space—it’s the next frontier for user experience. At Driving Vision News Interiors\, we explore how technology\, design\, and human-centric innovation converge to redefine mobility. \nThe Holistic Cabin: Where Everything Connects\nMoving beyond isolated features\, the future lies in a seamlessly integrated cabin. It’s where design\, HMI\, smart surfaces\, lighting\, seating\, and wellness systems work in harmony\, with a single goal: to elevate every journey into an exceptional experience. \nDriven by Megatrends\, Focused on the Human\nAutomotive interiors are being transformed by connectivity\, automation\, EVs\, and new regulations. Our conference dissects these forces\, focusing on the tangible innovations they spur—from advanced displays and driver monitoring to intelligent interiors that think ahead. \nJoin the Dialogue on Key Domains: \n\nSmart Surfaces\, Cockpits & Displays\nInterior Lighting & CMF Strategies\nNext-Generation Seating & Electronics\nDriver & Cabin Monitoring Systems\n…and more\, capped by an exclusive Design Roundtable with industry leaders.\n\nFor more information: Emilie Bonnet\, MarCom Director: ebonnet@drivingvisionnews.com

SUMMARY:DVN USA Interior Workshop
DESCRIPTION:WHAT’S COMING IN VEHICLE INTERIORS?\nDuring the Beijing auto show last April\, specialists noticed the exterior design sameness across numerous brands and makers\, and wondered if this means exterior design is losing importance. \nConversely\, there was intensely competitive focus on every aspect of the interior\, and great diversity across brands and makers. Materials quality\, comfort\, infotainment\, user experience and wellbeing\, and row-2 luxury\, to name a few. Cars are being designed less as third spaces and more as second homes\, while increasingly capable driving automation and human-driver assistant technology (ADAS) mean occupants have more time and cognitive space to relax and things other than drive. \nIs this trend apply also in USA?\nThis is what we will discuss during our first DVN Interior workshop in September 22 & 23 in Detroit. \nThe workshop will explore innovations in: \n\nInterior electronics & smart surfaces\nHaptics & smart cockpits\nDisplays & HMI/UX\nInterior lighting\nCMF\nSeating\nSustainability & circularity\n\nPanel discussions will grapple with important ideas\, including: \n\nHow to increase development and decision speed (takeaways from China-speed benchmarking)?\nHow to leverage and benefit from AI?\nWhat’s next after screens?\nWhat’s the right balance between digital and physical controls?\nSustainability as an early-stage decision framework\, not as a downstream tradeoff\n\nOpportunities are open for presenters and exhibitors. \nContacts: \n\nLaurent Sérézat\, Head of DVN Interior: lserezat@drivingvisionnews.com \nFelix Urbina\, Senior Advisor: Furbina@drivingvisionnews.com\nEmilie Bonnet\, MarCom Director: ebonnet@drivingvisionnews.com
