SUMMARY:DVN Shanghai Lighting Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Vehicle Lighting Experience\nThe 41st DVN Lighting workshop will take place in Shanghai on September 08-09\, 2026. An Interior workshop will take place in parallel like in 2025. \nDVN are back in China for the 9th time. Last year we put a strong focus on design that is impacting our whole value chain. Lighting is not any longer a unique component\, but has become an experience. Theme is Vehicle Lighting Experience – Technology\, Innovation\, Safety and Design. \nWe will this year propose a deep dive into technology: \n\nProjection system including DLP\, LCOS\, MicroLED\, MLA technology\nFront panel that include new technologies (chrome\, films\, PUR coating\, miniLEDs and microLEDs displays)\nStart-up session to meet new comers and possible disruptors for our industry\n\nWe are inviting technical and design universities to brainstorm about what will be our future. \nSessions will include: \n\nLighting for Safety: CNCAP rating\, ADB\nDeep Dive into projection system\, including DLP\, MicroLED\, MLA\, MEMS\, Gobo.\nADAS & Lighting : how can lighting support ADAS\, how can ADAS support lighting\, status about ADAS sensor integration into lamps\, Turquoise light status\nLighting design\, including deep dive into front panels and lit grill\nLighting Process deep dive: what’s next for the 4.0 light manufacturing\nLighting simulation tools\, including AI\, what’s new?\nEE new architecture to support new lighting functions\nISD\, what’s next?\nInterior lighting\, CMF & UX\n\n2 Panel discussions: \n\nRegulation with CATARC\, SMVIC\, GTB officers\nDesign round table : Exterior designer – Lighting designer – Interior Designer – UX designer\n\nAward Ceremony: Best lamp design\, best rear lamp design\, best auxiliary lamp design\, best\ntechnology. Feel free to send us your proposal to be part of the nominees. \nThis Shanghai DVN Workshop will bring together more than 500 participants from all over the world. Experts\, researchers\, managers\, designers\, engineers…and you!

SUMMARY:DVN U.S. Lighting Workshop
DESCRIPTION:DVN U.S. Lighting Workshop June 09-10\, 2026\nThe 40th DVN Lighting Workshop will be held at the Laurel Manor in Livonia\, Michigan on 9-10 June\, 2026. \nThe theme for the 2-day conference and expo is American & Global Lighting Innovation for Next-Gen American Mobility.\n\nThe automotive industry faces serious challenges and upheavals right now. There’s disruption from the tech industry. Automated driving is becoming a reality. Computing is becoming the most critical asset\, and software-defined vehicles are coming onstream. All of this is transforming the vehicle lighting sector. \nAt this high-content workshop event\, you’ll have the opportunity to talk\, listen\, learn\, and share with colleagues and experts on topics including: \n\nHow are evolving geopolitical dynamics shaping the automotive lighting landscape in the United States\, and what do they mean for American OEMs and international companies operating within the U.S. ecosystem?\nWhat will be the new EE architectures for lamps? What new possibilities are unlockable? What new constraints will arise along with function safety and cybersecurity?\nWhat are the lighting trends and ways of working? Where-all does AI stand to improve our world and how we work in it?\n\nTechnical sessions will include: \n\nInterior lighting\nOptical design innovation\nEE architecture from a global to a component approach\, with value chain deep dive\nSafety\nCar body design\n\nTwo panel discussions are on the docket\, with highly relevant topics: \n• Regulation\, powered by GTB and SAE committees\n• OEM challenge \nThe event will be chaired and steered by DVN’s Paul-Henri Matha\, Daniel Stern\, and Mark Verplank.
